*The geographic position is at best the city in which you are in, in most cases it is inaccurate; it is never your exact position on a map

4. Why we collect data?

  • To provide this website and to provide it in a user-friendly way
  • To be able to contact you and reply to you, when you contacted us, e.g. via an input form on this site

  • To ward off malicious attacks on our site and keep your data save with us

5. Why are we allowed to?

In the following we share the legal basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), on the basis of which we process the personal data. Please note that in addition to the regulations of the GDPR, the national data protection requirements in your or our country of residence and domicile may apply. If more specific legal bases are relevant in individual cases, we will inform you of this in the data privacy statement.

5.1 Consent, Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. a. GDPR

5.4 National and local regulation within the Federal Republic of Germany

In addition to the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), national regulations on data protection apply in the Federal Republic of Germany. This is in particular the Right against misuse of personal data within the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Amongst other regulations, it includes regulations for the right to information, the right to deletion, the right of objection, the processing of special categories of personal data, the processing and transmission for other purposes, automated decision-making processes in individual cases including the so-called profiling.

In addition to national laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, state data protection laws of the Free State of Bavaria may apply.

6. How do we protect your data?

We go to great lengths to protect your data, not only to confine with legal requirements, but to protect them the best way possible, with a firm eye on technological developments and threats that may arise. For that reason we work with one of the best web hosting companies available to us.

As one of the few web providers it has several data centers of its own. These are located in Dresden. All of our customers’ data is therefore stored exclusively on servers in Germany and is therefore also subject to German data protection laws, which are among the strictest in the world. A team of service technicians ensures the security of the hardware around the clock and strict access controls is guaranteed.

To further ensure the safety of your data we apply SSL encryption every time data is transferred between your device and our web servers.
